The gowithYamo app was launched in 2018 to consolidate all exhibitions on one platform, making art more accessible to a wide audience. They aim to help ‘overshadowed’ small galleries increase their exposure and footfall whilst also working with major institutions. Yamo believe they are the most comprehensive art exhibition app out there, with hundreds of virtual exhibitions already listed.

They generate revenue by providing services to galleries and artists such as selling artworks on their behalf and in return receive a commission on any sales.

“Not only is our app intuitive and easy to use, it is also fun and rewarding. Users can collect Yamo points by checking-in to galleries and exchange them for rewards such as art prints and exhibition tickets in our in-app store” says their management.

“We provide support to galleries, museums and artists by exposing them to our extensive community of art lovers and offer custom-built virtual exhibition spaces where they can show and sell their work to our sizeable digital audience, a popular service during the lockdown period”.

They offer marketing services on the app that galleries can use to promote their exhibitions to their users and offer other promotional services on their social media platforms such as sponsored posts, reviews, gallery trails and interviews.
